Great food! If your a Truck Driver and want something other than Denny’s this is excellent! I’ll be back next time I’m through Salt Lake City. – Jeffrey Rittenour

This place packs a lot of flavor in to every dish. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious so far – I’ve been maybe 8 times since they’ve opened and I will continue returning. Cheap eats · Great food – Scott Davis

Walking in to this place was a sign it was going to be a hit or a miss. The place was just opened and looked like a ghosts town, a little mom and pop restaurant. I had the Fried Tofu from there appetizer menu, so I wasn’t expecting much but…. Wow was I wrong!
This was Some how flavor packed. Love it and will be back.
Vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. I love me some Thai but with the blend of Myanmar 😘 amazing! Price and portion on point.
The service was amazing I talked with the owner and she was friendly and welcoming.

This place caught me by surprise, I wasn’t expecting a Thai cuisine place near a truckstop. Food is very good, price is in the mid range, service is warm with a smiling cashier at the front, place is clean and nicely decorated. If you like hot tea like me it is served to you on a nice looking china cup with lemon and sugar placed individually on a small cup so you sweeten it to your like. Ambiance is provided by 2 TVs playing at a tolerable volume so you don’t get annoyed by a loud program. For us the truck drivers it is located just across the street that protect us with crosswalks/stoplights/pedestrian light crossings so it is very convenient and provides a little workout to digest the food, for the regular people with cars the place has enough parking for a good amount of cars, overall great place to eat Thai food. Fresh and delicious. The place was very clean inside and the staff was very friendly. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the beef curry was unexpectedly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The green tea was amazing and the mango and sticky rice was perfect. … – Michael Miller

I called Chef Haymar with 24-hour notice for a work dinner. She was so kind and thoughtful and helped me pick through our options. The food was packaged with care so I didn’t need to worry about it spilling in my car. Delivery is available, but with her willingness to help so last minute I was happy to pick up. The food was fresh, flavorful, and our whole dinner party enjoyed themselves! Thank you! – Erin Grisham

This place has amazing food!!! The lady working here was also incredible; she helped with the menu, took our order, and also cooked. I can’t say enough about how great the entire experience of eating at Wann Jake is. Our waitress also brought us a sample of what I think was braised beef; also incredible! Please go eat at Wann Jale. – Chris D.

Incredible spot. Definitely worth seeking out. Myanmar food is similar to Thai but maybe more reliance on tamarind. At least in the dishes we tried. Super fresh and tasty. Loved the fried opo squash, but it was the sambal served with it that really blew me away.
Excellent service! Super friendly and timely. Also helpful with questions about the menu.
Great value as well. Good portions for the price.
Weird location, but it IS right off of the freeway. So it shouldn’t be hard to get to from just about anywhere in the valley.
